Privacy policy
CineSnap does not collect anything.
That is the whole policy. The rest of this page is the detail behind it, written so you can check the claim rather than take it on trust.

The macOS app
CineSnap makes no network requests. There is no account, no sign-in, no licence check, no update ping, no crash reporter and no analytics. It does not know that you installed it, and it has no way to tell us.
Your footage is never uploaded, because there is nowhere for it to go. Video is decoded, graded and exported entirely on your own Mac.
The app writes the following to its own folder on your Mac, and nowhere else:
- Your preferences — interface language, playback and export settings, window layout.
-
Copies of the
.cubeand.3dlLUTs you import, so a moved or unplugged source folder cannot break your library. - The file paths of clips in your playlist and of stills you have saved, so the app can reopen where you left off.
All of it stays in the app's own data folder and is removed when you delete the app. You
can inspect it yourself at
~/Library/Application Support/cinesnap/.
The browser demo
The demo at cine.worldinspirelab.com/try/ runs entirely inside your browser tab. The clip and the LUT you load are read from your own disk by the browser and are never sent anywhere — there is no upload endpoint and no server that could receive them.
It remembers your last session — settings, and the output folder you granted it — using your browser's own local storage on your device. Clearing site data removes it.
This website
There are no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising, and no cookies set by us. The site sets nothing you would need a consent banner for, which is why you were not shown one.
The site and the app download are hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the ordinary technical data that reaching a server requires — your IP address, the request, and your browser's user-agent string — to serve the page and to protect against abuse. We do not receive that data in an identifiable form and do not build profiles from it.
Your data rights
Rights of access, correction, erasure and portability all apply to personal data that an organisation holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to hand over, correct or delete. The data the app creates is already on your own machine and entirely under your control.
If that changes — if a future version ever adds an account, a licence key or telemetry — this page will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be described in the app's release notes rather than made quietly.
